Manic Monday

Yesterday was somewhat of an uneventful monday by my standards. I got up went to teh office, typed out my blogs and took off for Pacetti Bay Middle School where we are still talking to kids about suicide. We'll be there this Tuesday and Thursday and then we will have spoken to the whole school. While I have enjoyed my time there with the students I do miss some of my regular schedule of running around and making phone calls all day long.
When I got done at Pacetti Bay I rushed over to SAHS to try and get some things scheduled for presentations over there and then I went to see Kyle. Kyle Cubbedge suffered his first football injury last Thursday night during the freshman football game. He broke his finger in several places it would seem. He had to have surgery and he had several screws put in, in order for it to heal up properly. It was a little 30-45 minute procedure that turned into a couple hours of work as the finger was in much worse shape than they had anticipated.
I saw Kyle before he went into surgery and he was in good spirits other than the fact that he hadn't eaten since midnight the night before because of the surgery.
After that I went out to the football practice at PEdro, came home and relaxed a bit before the girls got home. Tara and the girls went to Palatka to eat dinner with her parents and to get some bushes and trees for the church as we are starting to landscape the yard with the final touches of paint going up this week. So it's exciting to be entering the final phase of paint and landscape this week after preparing for it over a year now. That was one of the first things that I wanted to do was paint and landscape and now it is going on in full swing.
Tonight Alexa and P.J. start cheerleading camp at Pedro so they are excited about that and they will be able to cheer during the football game this Friday night which they are even more excited about.
So life is good, and things are going along great so have a great day and thanks for reading.
