We had a problem with a company a few weeks ago and they felt guilty for the things that we had endured because of their mistakes. So, they basically gave us over $300 free money to make up for it. We in turn put that money in the bank and kept a small portion out for our 3 day weekend we wanted to take in March. WEll, that weekend revolves around the Gatornationals. It is the biggest race in Florida outside of the Daytona 500 and by far the biggest drag race we are able to attend in person. ALexa and P.J. had a blast this year. From getting dozens of autographs, to getting to see their favorite racer Erica Enders in person and ahve their picture taken, to getting to witness first hand teh thrill of 2 300mph race cars going by. All of this added up to them being once again hooked on drag racing. It's kind of the equivalent to a revival if you will.
We spent Friday from 7:30am to 2pm there and then I had to rush home for a girls' softball game. We all had a blast and it was great to do it together as a family. Saturday the girls went to Tara's parents' new house in Palm Coast and hung out while I did some work around the church and then I helped my dad in the garage most of the day.
Sunday was another awesome day, Aaron and I are really clicking well and he is really starting to shine as a worship leader. I have been told by many that yesterday was our best worship service since we landed at Freedom Baptist Church. I am excited about all that the future holds for us.
Thanks for reading and have a great week!
