Another day, another dollar

Another great day of Betty Griffin House work. I have been a little stressed I must admit as I have been struggling to get teh presentations that we need. I've been praying about it and just Wednesday morning I felt a peace as I prayed about it. THen it happened, inside of about 15 minutes I got a phone call asking me to come to a church boys mentoring group on a monthly basis to do presentations. An email asking me to speak to a large group at Flagler College about dating violence, and an email from the guidance counsellor at Southwoods wanting me to meet with him to set up presentations for next week with their students.I went to tell Allison about all of that and a lady that we had both contacted called her to have us come and do about 18 presentations at her school at Pacetti Bay middle school. How amazing was that, I didn't know for sure what that peace meant, I have been on 2-3 campuses every day asking, begging and pleading. Then, finally I officially turn it over to God and He again provides more than I could ask or even imagine.
Youth group went great, we set up our card room and we had one group playing Skipbo at the card table, one group playing video games in teh game room, and another group hanging out playing indoor soccer(only one broken light, not bad) and a few just sitting on teh couch talking about their day. WE talked about new wine in old wineskins and the kids seemed to respond well to teh message.
Over all a wonderful hump day, for both my jobs spiritual and secular. I couldn't ask for much more.
Thursday will be a different story as I will be leaving at 6:30am for Mandarin for a presentation for a mens group we are putting together, then a presentation at the boys and girls club, one at crookshank and then off to Pedro to feed and do the bible studies for the freshman and junior varsity teams. I will then attend those games and get up to do it all over again on Friday. Yay Thursday, Friday then an exciting fun-filled 2 day race weekend! I'm ready!

have a great day and thanks for reading.
(Yes I typed it late WEdnesday night to avoid running late on Thursday morning!)
