ANother soggy day

Yesterday was another soggy day. I had a speaking engagement at one school and then rushed over to lunch at another. My Tuesday lunch bunch was at about half because several of them were helping out the principal with some things. Still, it was fun and productive. I had a good visit non the less.
Then, I went back to the office, finished off some paperwork and got off at 3. I went home, did some reading on a great new book I just picked up. I then went to softball practice, another indoor session with the girls telling them about the athletes code of conduct. The Athletic Director shared iwth them the expectations for the coming year and the way that athletes will be held to a higher standard than all other students. It's interesting to see the things that they are held accountable to and I hope that these penalties are upheld.
Then, I rushed to teh grocery store and grabbed some food for dinner, got the girls from my mom's house(tara was working at Publix) and fixed them some dinner. WE played a few games of Uno and this time after the second game, P.J. messed up all the cards when she realized I was going to win. It's going to be a long road with these two who can't lose at anything. Alexa did win the first game, which was a first for her and she is not a good winner either. She danced, shook her booty, yes I said shook her booty, then said "oh yeah, oh yeah" "I'm the winner" which her father and sister did not take well. I turned up the heat a little to make sure I won the next game, and I did have it under control until P.J. decided to move the cards around.
So that's it, another day, another night of finding out who is a good winner, and who is a good loser in the bunch. So far none of us fit any of those roles all that well.
