yesterday was a day full of stuff. Things and things and lots of errands and running around. I made it to the hospital to do some visiting, I made it to a the Betty Griffin House Thrift store to hang out a little with some people who needed it I was told. I got to talk with a Pastor who I respect tremendously and who affirmed what we are doing at Freedom. All in all it was a great day.
After work I had a chance to play some basketball with Alexa and watch P.J. ride her bike up and down the street at warp speed. We did some running together and worked out together. We had fun and Alexa is totally into it which makes it even more fun.
After that I went and got my hair cut and went to a friends' house to get the heads for our big motor in my race car. While there his wife introduced Alexa and P.J. to their idea of the perfect house. They have a bird, a rabbit, a couple of cats and a dog. But then she brought out the real ammo, she had a sugar slider which is quite possibly the coolest little thing I had ever seen. P.J. fell in love and wouldn't take her eyes off of it.
They are so funny about animals. At the races in Orlando we pitted a ways from the actual track and we were facing a big yard with lots of animals. It was all we could do to keep P.J. on this side of the fence. I mean they had goats, a donkey, a bull, a few cows, a couple of chickens, a peacock and some turkeys. Needless to say we barely had enough bread for our sandwiches because P.J. kept sneaking pieces over to the animals. She loves animals of all kinds, she may be a vet some day who knows?!
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
