P.J.'s wisdom

So last night P.J. and I attempt to go to a little league softball game. When we got there , no one was on the field so we decided to take a cruise. I took some back roads on the way home and we came to a railroad crossing. P.J. in her infinite wisdome went into a 5 minute spill on how railroad crossings work, why we stop when the arms come down and why the arms and the lights are there. It was enlightening to say the very least.
ON the other hand, we have Alexa. She is about to finish up with the first grade and every time she is in the truck with me she reads everything. You see reading well has opened up a whole new world for her. She now reads every sign and wants to know what it means, or what that word means. I think this all goes along with what Solomon said in Ecclesiastes about with much knowledge comes much sorrow.
I ride down the road and I am very observant, but P.J. doesn't miss a single squirrel. Alexa doesn't miss a word on a sign. Without them I miss out on a lot.
P.J. feels like she knows everything her world needs at 4. Alexa feels like she needs alot more knowledge at 7. Who should we be more liek?
I don't know that answer. I work hard to learn more from the Word every day, and less from the world if possible.
This weekend will be a buys one for us. We have 2 graduations tomorrow and several graduation family get-togethers to attend.
Have a great weekend and I will tell you all about it on Monday!
